The vehicle classification is based on identifying the main vehicle that’s going to be used on the road in reason to provide an easy path.
July 2018, a system of environmental badges with 4 vehicle categories of different colors was officially introduced in Spain.

THE CHALLENGE
}
The traffic rules with the low pollution in Madrid city have a descriptive explanation by the prefecture that classifies the type of vehicles, which’s not always helpful to use in a live situation by tourists, it includes until today local drivers that are facing challenges to identify the right road with the daily traffic.
Improve air quality in the green zone
Provides visual guidance to the drivers considering their vehicles with the pollution rules of the city
Reduce the misunderstanding of low pollution regulations that end up with penalties for any vehicle owner

RESEARCH GOAL
Discover the complexity that the drivers face with the green zone rules.
How did they find the indication of which road/zone are allowed to pass by until they get to their destination.
How little or much traffic affects drivers to identify the allowed roads for their vehicles.
EMPATHIZE WITH USER
Including ourselves in the same situation, socializing with people in the same situation that are looking to park in the center of Madrid, or pass by a street that isn't allowing their cars to pass by with the green zone rules.
